Officer Trainee Survey

Nautilus International is following up previous research among cadets to examine whether officer trainees are getting the pay, conditions, treatment and training that they deserve. We’d therefore like to hear from you.

The study will determine the basis for future discussions with shipping companies, training organisations and government. Your feedback will help the Union to shape its policy on cadet training, pay and much more.

The survey aims to provide the industry with the facts about the experiences of officer trainees – such as you. This will help to shape the debate about the need for you to be given the conditions you deserve.

The survey should take no longer than five minutes to complete. Your answers and comments are completely confidential, and the survey results will be given under conditions of anonymity.
